Many things at IKEA are soo boring, that so called Scandinavian style can be very dull with too many straight corners. But Ikea do have some few items that are must have's as well.
Take a look at the childrens department next time, they have a new line for young girls wich I think is lovely and irresistable. The bed linen called Silkig (silky) have a unicorn and bouncing bunnies print along with swirls and flower ornaments. The flipside of the duvet cover is pink. They also have small matching cusions with a unicorn print. I beleive those who love Lolita style also would love these.
The glass on the bed was only 1 €. I bought eight glasses and these will be our new everyday glasses. Even if they are a bit chunky I think they will add a little Victorianescue feel to our everyday dinners.
You know I'm fond of owles. These cute ones were bought at a store called Rusta for 10€. Johan saw them on his Instagram feed and I hurried to buy them. They must have been popular because they ran out immediately.

That Silkig fabric is very cute and Lolita! IKEA is pretty amazing. Even though a lot of their stuff can be very plain and functional, they always seem to have a smattering of more ornate stuff too. I've got a large, black, baroque frame that I bought from IKEA and turned into an awesome mirror. I've also got some dark red ornamental vases in different shapes and sizes from IKEA that I really love.
SvaraRaderaI also have that frame. They quit selling it but sells a white one now
The cushion and bedcover are lovely! Were they just kids sizes or for adults too? I know a lot of adults that would love that sort of thing! Those owls are the most adorable things ever, I can see why they sold out! Good thing you rushed over there!
SvaraRaderaThe bedcover is adult size.
RaderaOh, my...unicorns?! I LOVE unicorns! And the owls are adorable as well. ^^
SvaraRaderaThere's nothing remotely unicorny on their website and everything comes late to Hungary anyway, but I'm going to keep an eye out for the new line. Do you know its name? :)
The line is called Silkig and can be found at the kids departement. I'm sure it's already there because it came to Sweden around Christmas
I really love the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil owls! The glasses are a nice touch too, I like chunky glasses because they make me feel like I'm less likely to break or drop them! Pretty unicorns too =]
