September moonlight

Lovely September got it's cold hands on the garden. Even if the flowers blooms in bold colours the longer cold nights and the mist turns the leaves in autumn colours.
The weather is forcing the nature merciless to sleep.

This was the single flower I got from the scabiosas I sow. Not much of a gothic garden right?

Oh I'm actually too busy to have time to write or even think up a post. Therefore I just post the photos I took by my phone camera. I took a walk to the youngest schools parental meeting the other day. Dressed like a typical slouchy mum, careless.

The long boring walk that goes by our garden

Back home I was at last able to see the last supermoon, like a giant flashlight.
Johan met me on the way home and I forced him to the graveyard to take a stroll around the graves. Tried to take some photos. It was a lovely night

I attended the parents meeting at my new job yesterday night. I was so nervous, but it all went well. I did NOT wear clothes like the ones in the photo above. I have actually roaming the town to look for more professinal clothes. It wasn't easy when all the clothes sizes stops at the size smaller than yours. The big size department had soo boring (slouchy) clothes, nothing for a pro-teacher at a private school.
I'll be back with photos of the things I found....

  1. Sooooo pretty! Oh, and the photos of your garden and the moonlight are pretty, too. :) Good luck finding professional clothing that isn't slouchy. Think outside the box and incorporate what you already have. You'll be amazed how quickly a flowing skirt can become professional when topped with the right blouse and blazer or tailored sweater.

    1. Thanks! that was very good advices. I have some clothes that definitely would combine with jackets and trousers, but I might stay away from my frilly and lacy clothes for a while at least.

    1. Thanks. I do have lovely nature in every direction and it's very varied. wild forest, lakes and rivers, gullys, swamps, farmlands etc.

  5. I love the garden! The frosty silvery leafed plant, the purple flowers! And a night graveyard walk sounds nice. It's good you are in an area where it is safe to do that!

Clothing is ridiculous at the moment, I am below average size to average size and often when I buy clothes they are size large! I don't know how anyone finds clothes to wear! It is ridiculous! Everything is for tiny people these days!, Why can't they be fair and make clothes for both tiny and bigger people?

  7. Lovely night shots. Purple flowers are cool in a Gothic Garden.

  8. I am glad I am not the only one who enjoys walks through the graveyard at night. I agree with Laura, I do not know how anyone finds clothes to wear either! We have a lot of options here in Canada with many inexpensive clothing stores and websites, but if you are larger than a size 10 US you are out of luck hoping any of it will fit or flatter you. I often finding myself having to go on a diet just so I can stay fitting in the size large!

  9. I feel you sister: looking for professional clothing feels always like a pain inte ass.
Who wants to wear boring plain corporative uniform when you are used to be creative about your daily life aspect? I went shopping a couple of weeks ago for the same reason and I let myself to invest in some black corporate clothing. Well, I might need to look more professional, but I don´t need to wear pink :P

Anyway, I hope you could find what you were looking for!
Have you started on your new job everyday routine? How is it going? :)

    1. The good thing with corporate clothes is that black is always ok :), the bad thing is the plain look. I start with a plain corporate look to see where I'll be heading later when I'm settled at my new job.
