Walking

These late weeks has just been passing by with studies, work, family tasks and walks.
I've been picking up my lunch walks again, they are necessary for my well being. I don't bother socializing with my coworkers in the dining hall, I need fresh air.
It was too long ago I took a walk in the deep forest by our house, but today I took a very refreshing walk.
I have sceduled some cultural happenings in our calendar the future months. We need to do more events instead of staying at home all the time. What about a steamcon in June, a magic show next weekend and an not sceduled visit at the armour museum with Game of Thrones costumes?? We need more of things like that!
Oh and beside the boring things I've been up to, I have set up a bench for seedlings with fluorescent light above in the basement. I have big plans for my frontyard, visions of a romantigoth flowerbed with lots of drama.

  1. Your pictures look so wonderful! I live in a very urban area, even the "forrests" we have here look tamed! And going anywhere in costumes is fun, I'd love to participate in a Game of Thrones event!

    1. The idea behind the Game of thrones exhibition is great. We had a mad king here in Sweden during the renaissance. He competed about the throne with his brothers and he chopped many heads off. The male costumes from the Game of thrones are very renaissance looking so it will be a mix of clothes from real kings and fictional. Dresses from the Elisabeth movie will also be in that exhibition.

  2. I'm not much f a nature girl anymore, but if I would live near such a magical forest, I'd take a long, refreshing walk every day too! Amazing pictures! :)

Unfortunately, our finance - plan has been compromised by the expenses of getting out cat fixed, but we're also planning to attend some social events in March or more likely, April. A magic show? Hm...it's been ages...! :)

    1. We are all different. Everytime I visit Stockholm I tell myself that I would never survive in that town. I didn't like to live in the center of our town either, I always felt insecure at night.

  3. Oh, I can see why you would want to take walks in such a gorgeous forest! You're so lucky to live near such a beautiful wilderness.

I'm excited to see how your "romantigoth flowerbed" turns out. Sounds fabulous!

    1. I had an imagination of fabulous colourscheme, dramatic black and purple with romantic splashes of lilac and pink and a dot here and there with creamy white.

  5. Your woods are amazing!

I think we need more events where we are too! I suppose there are lots of things on in the city but I can't get home afterwards if it is at night! Sigh. At least if I have a friend going I can crash. But I would love more Steampunk events!

    1. I grow rucola, salad and lots of different flowers. Well you could always try to grow in pots. I grow my tomatoes in buckets outdoors and get a good amount of them :)
